Summary
Formed in August 2012 in Rome (Italy) with the aim to play Brutal Death Metal inspired by Disgorge, Condemned, Sarcolytic. In November 2012 the band enters the renowned 16th Cellar Studio in Rome (Hour Of Penance, Fleshgod Apocalypse and more) to record two promo tracks. Thanks to this promo the band signs a deal with US label COMATOSE MUSIC on January 2013. During 2013 the band completes the songs for the debut album "RESURRECTION DENIED" recorded once again at 16th Cellar Studio and released in June 2014 by Comatose Music. Embraced by fans and critics, perhaps as one the most brutal album Devangelic have built a strong fan base internationally and have toured through USA in June 2014 and Europe in September 2014 playing in many countries as Czech Rep., Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland and more. In 2015 and 2016 the live activity continues and the band played in UK and Greece for the first time ever and is confirmed also for the big European festival known as Deathfeast Open Air, Germany's Frankfurt Deathfest, Purulent Deathfest in Italy, Gothoom Open Air in Slovakia, Xxxicken Party in Portugal, Hellprint Day in Indonesia and Berlin Deathfest in Germany.The end of 2016 and beginning of 2017 see the bands focused on the last touches and arrangments for their second album "PHLEGETHON", that will be released once again by North Carolina label Comatose Music in October 2017. Between fall 2017 and 2018 Devangelic plays many promotional shows supporting the new album “Phlegethon” as UK and Russian Tours, Austria, Spain, Ukraine, Czech Rep, Romania, USA. Devangelic has performed live with Dying Fetus, Suffocation, Nile, Cattle Decapitation, Napalm Death, Marduk, Diabolical, Asphyx, Bolt Thrower, Internal Suffering, Incantation, Grave, Morgoth, Entombed A.D., Malignancy, Pessimist, Gorgasm, Katalepsy, Unfathomable Ruination, Antropofagus, Kraanium, Mortal Decay, Unmerciful, Wormed and many more!
